Trustee President Long and Vice President Kranenburg both say "Vote for Prof. George"
Why do you believe your background prepares you to govern as a Trustee?
My life’s work has been to apply mathematics to a wide range of physical science and business problems and to communicate and teach to others how it all works. I have loved mathematics from the start and there is no better feeling than to inspire the next generation of students to learn and appreciate the amazing world of thinking with mathematics.
I have my Ph.D. in High Energy Physics from Stanford University and have worked in many different fields where critical thinking—synthesizing the abstract with the tangible—has been the key to innovation and progress.
I have refined my analytical skills to solve problems and find optimum solutions that lie at the intersection of technology and policy, and come to the Board ready to serve the College, its students and our community.
